Richard Best Transfer Inc. (RBT) is a full service railroad/trucking transloading logistics company that unloads/loads approximately 4000 railcars of various agricultural commodities per year for the Central Valley of California Ag users and producers. Commodities consist of: Bran Feed Pellets, Canola Meal & Pellets, Corn Germ & Gluten, Whole Cotton Seed, Cotton Seed Hull Pellets and Meal, Dairy Beet Pulp Pellets, Dried Distillers Grain, Hominy, Linseed Pellets, Soy Hull Pellets, Sun Flower Meal and Pellets, Urea, Ornamental Bark and Lumber. The primary use for most of these products is for California's dynamic Dairy Cattle Industry which is one of the largest in the world and growing. RBT has a transloading facility located at rail station Ivory. It is served by the San Joaquin Valley Railroad which allows equal access to both the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railways for the most competitive rail shipping rates and logistical needs in the country. This makes RBT one of the larger rail transloading operators in the state of California. RBT has an outstanding well-established industry reputation since 1994 and known for getting the job done safely, quickly and efficiently. RBT deals with some of the largest grain shippers and handlers in the country.
